Swimming Pools

  • The establishment is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations regarding pool characteristics, water quality, and maintenance supervision.
  • A qualified person, as required by law, will supervise the pool from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (summer) and from 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM (winter). Outside these hours, pool use is not permitted.
  • We also remind you that the use of floats or other inflatables is not permitted in the pools, except for swim aids and armbands for learning to swim.
  • It is forbidden to bring glass objects (glasses, water bottles, mirrors, bottles...) into the pool area.
  • Neither the physical accessibility of the pool nor the ease or possibility of overcoming obstacles placed to prevent it can be interpreted as a waiver of the prohibition.
  • Without prejudice to the foregoing and in any case, meaning at any time, the decision to use the pool is the exclusive responsibility of the bather, as are any damages or inconveniences suffered or caused by them or due to their movements and maneuvers while swimming.
  • The bather is also responsible for any nuisance or inconvenience caused to other users, guests, or neighbors.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for their children or dependents, as required by law.
  • Users must follow the lifeguard's instructions within the pool area.
  • The establishment may, at any time, prevent the improper use of the pool.
  • Reserving sunbeds is not permitted. Our hotel staff will remove all items reserved on unused sunbeds or seats. We wish all our guests the same opportunity to use and enjoy our facilities.

  • Children who are not potty-trained must wear swim diapers in the pool.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUN PROTECTION

1· Avoid sun exposure during the middle of the day (between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM), as well as prolonged exposure or sunbathing.

2· Reduce direct sun exposure. Light clothing, thick-knit shirts, and pants block most solar radiation. The most comfortable clothing in warm climates are light-colored cotton t-shirts. Clothing should be comfortable and not too tight.

3· It is recommended to cover your head with a hat or cap.

4· The sun can also damage your eyes, so it is recommended to wear approved sunglasses that filter at least 90% of ultraviolet radiation.

5· Use high-factor sun protection products appropriate for your age, skin type, and body area. These protectors should be applied generously 30 minutes before sun exposure and should be reapplied every two hours and after each swim. Remember that not even very effective sun protection products, which protect against both UVB and UVA radiation, can guarantee complete protection against the health risks posed by ultraviolet (UV) radiation. For this reason, the labeling rules for sun protection products have been modified, and labels should not indicate or even imply that they offer total protection against the risks arising from excessive exposure to UV radiation. The only way to completely avoid sun damage is to avoid exposure and, otherwise, take the appropriate protective measures described here to try to reduce the risk.

6· Be careful with exposure in water, as radiation can penetrate up to one meter in clear water.

7· In particular, make sure to protect children, as they are very sensitive to overexposure to the sun at this time of year. Sun exposure for children under 3 years of age should also be avoided. The use of high-factor sunscreens is recommended (sun protection factors over 40 are recommended).

8· If you are taking medication, check that it does not increase skin sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO AVOID DROWNING AND SPINAL TRAUMA AND INJURIES IN SWIMMING POOLS

1. Avoid pool drains.

2. Carefully check the water depth before entering.

3. Do not dive headfirst into areas where you are unsure of the depth, as it could be shallower than you think and consequently cause serious impacts and potential spinal injuries.

4. Avoid areas unsuitable for jumping into the water, such as trees, balconies, and other inappropriate spaces.

5. Enter the water slowly or jump in feet first several times before diving headfirst.

6. When diving headfirst, arms should be in front of the head, extending the entire body, to protect the head and neck. A sudden fall from a high elevation, even into the water, can cause serious injuries.

7. Constantly supervise children when they are near recreational waters, even if they are shallow.

8. Avoid alcohol consumption before any activity in or near the water.

9. In general, you should also be careful about digestive issues. It is highly recommended to shower before entering the water to acclimate to the temperature and avoid digestive issues and other complications.

10. Do not jump on people in the water.

Furthermore, in case of an accident, and if there is a need to lift or move the victim, it is very important to immobilize the neck, avoid spinal movements, and consult a professional so they can remove them. The victim should not be transported in a utility vehicle.

It should be remembered that many people have been left in wheelchairs for life for not following the above recommendations.

Dear guests, at our Hotel, the safety and well-being of our guests are our top priority. To ensure a safe and healthy environment in our pools, we follow strict hygiene and water quality protocols.

We want to inform you that, in the uncommon event that a fecal or vomit incident is detected in any of our pools, we immediately activate a safety and disinfection protocol. This procedure, designed to protect the health of all our bathers, involves the temporary closure of the affected pool.

For this reason, it is mandatory for young children who are not yet potty-trained to ALWAYS wear swim diapers while in the pool. The closure is necessary to carry out thorough disinfection and ensure that chlorine and pH levels are optimal before reopening the pool. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these situations, as these measures are essential for the safe enjoyment of our facilities.Sincerely,The Management
